I used to do this in SAPD, but SAPD is dead.
I just picked up a copy of SSBB at a manga store nearby, and its the japanese version. With 2 hours of modding my wii for region free play, I was ready to try it. I had already played the english version once or twice, so I knew the controls. They were basically the same as melee.
The first thing I noticed was the same thing I notice about japanese anime. The voices sounded like they fit the character better than they did in the english version. Second thing I noticed was the difficulty. Putting it on easy was the equivelant of putting it on hardest on english version. I liked the challenge, but I am not god, so I picked medium. After a few hours play, I had some friends come over, and we played 4 player brawl.
With this mode active, I noticed that the animations were also alot cooler than they were in english version. The animations better suited the character they were on. The best transition I found was Sonic's (dont say its cause im a fanboy either). In the english version, his animations were so ridgid. And his movements were so unlike his character. His taunts were also so childish. In the following picture, we also see his fighting stance looks oh so good as well. Just take a look at it!
And here is one of lucario's new fighting stance as well.
All-in-all, I give this an 8/10. The game was good, but its just too buggy for my liking. It takes multiple tries to boot (its one of the only wii games to use dual-layer) and the graphics are a bit on the wierd side sometimes (when running you can start appearing likes your falling through, until you stop running) and lucario's final smash created white boxes on occasion. Other than these few small things, this game is great. Definatly worth a buy, if you can region free your wii. And if you cannot find a place to purchase it, download it
NOTE: All pictures were taken by me with the screenshot option in-game.
